“AI Has Reached a Dangerous Tipping Point”

We all knew it was going to reach this point at some time. But did you think it would arrive so soon?

What I am talking about is AI: Artificial Intelligence.

According to OpenAI founder Sam Altman, we’ve reached a point in the AI competition where we have reached a term called “singularity.”

Singularity is a point where artificial intelligence surpasses human intelligence and proceeds to move forward at a rate that humans cannot keep up with, neither predicting nor controlling its advances.

Last week, an OpenAI agent broke loose and hacked into another AI company, Hugging Face. Simply put, it was out of human control.

AI has reached a dangerous tipping point.

From my vantage point, there aren’t the necessary safeguards to keep us safe from Artificial Intelligence.
