For decades China has been stealing American technology, reverse engineering our new products to produce less expensive copycats, utilizing cheap labor in poor factory conditions, thus undermining the global economy.
With a very uneven trade balance favoring the Chinese, the communist country has been deploying all that tainted cash to buy up American real estate and large portions of our federal debt.
That reminds me of the wise and truthful observation in the book of Proverbs: the borrower is servant to the lender.
Thus, you have what I call the China Syndrome.
Donald Trump is the first President in decades to step up and combat the China Syndrome, which left unaddressed, threatens our very national security.
It’s a painful battle, but a battle in which the President deserves our support.
