“Florida Senate: Gun Reform, Nothing Will Be off the Table”

Recent mass shootings have Florida Senate President Bill Galvano and former Senate President Tom Lee, currently representing District 20, declaring nothing is off the table regarding gun reform legislation in the next legislative session.

Lee said there aren’t any perceived ideas. Mental health, school safety, white nationalism and yes the “G” word, guns, are on the table.

Currently, the Florida Senate is alone in talking about potential gun reform legislation. Neither Governor Ron DeSantis nor Florida House Speaker Jose Oliva have voiced any action for next session.

Because it’s a Presidential election year, political concerns will dictate a “do no harm” approach to any new gun reform law, if any. 

And remember the critical Florida vote may decide our nation’s next President.
