When the stimulus talks failed Friday, President Trump wasted no time taking the advice of Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and Chief of Staff Mark Meadows to implement executive orders.

While voters are over weeks of squabbling, bickering, and Democrat finger pointing at press conferences, Trump rides in a white horse offering executive order emergency assistance.

The executive order provides $400 in weekly unemployment, suspension of a worker’s payroll tax, delaying eviction and foreclosure proceedings, and zero percent interest for student loans.

Is the move legal? We’ll wait and see.

But one thing is sure. It was a brilliant political move by Trump to signal his willingness to get dollars now to the American people, putting Democrats in a box for stalling on a deal.
