The Democrats officially had their party last week in Milwaukee. The Republicans wasted no time laying down the gauntlet with their national convention kickoff in Charlotte.
Yesterday President Trump evidenced the fact he has no interest in a cookie-cutter convention. As the former host of “The Apprentice,” he’s one who knows a little bit about putting on a TV extravaganza. Viewers saw and will see a sharp contrast with the show the Democrats just put on.
Donald Trump will fire up the base all week with live audience appearances including his convention speech on the last day of the Convention. And having live people reacting to him each as he speaks is a marketing coup when compared to the “crickets” of silence that marked both the Biden and Harris acceptance speeches.
