“Florida Didn’t Dodge Hurricane Dorian”

As we watch Hurricane Dorian lift to points northward, Florida in the end result did not dodge the wrath of this storm.
There is no doubt that the area around Palm Beach and points inland, including our listening area, could have experienced devastation the likes of Hurricane Andrew had the storm moved westward.
But beach, wind and rain damage up the Florida coast will nonetheless prove to be very costly indeed.
But for all of our good blessing in dodging the historic monster hurricane, we must do all we can to help the affected people of the Bahamas recover from this nightmare.
Who knows how long it will take to rebuild the Bahamas, given what we have experienced with Hurricane Michael’s slow recovery.
Our dodge of the worst compels us to pray and assist our Bahamian friends.
