Florida Pot Docs are making a cash killing.

No longer are pot prescribers limited to medical insurance caps. Cash is king with pot scripts, and that has attracted a unique breed of doctors.

From October 1^st to March 31^st, a whopping 168,810 patient “certifications” for medical marijuana have been approved. The problem is, only 89 docs are responsible for over half of the prescriptions written! 

Florida used to have pill mills. Florida now has pot docs writing scripts at such a high rate a public health issue may arise in the future. That’s according to a panel of doctors appointed to monitor and report back to the legislature on the ordering patterns of fellow physicians.

I’ll be really curious to see how serious the legislature will be in looking into Florida’s “cash only” pot docs.
