The first-of-its-kind Republican Midterm Convention is in the record books. Speculation ran wild about how well it would be attended and how enthusiastically attendees would react.

On both counts, President Trump and the Republican Party planners receive an A+. The Dallas American Airlines Center was filled to capacity, and President Trump, at age 80 and term-limited in 2028, was as invigorated as ever, showing his faithful MAGA devotees he still has the “IT” factor.

Off-year midterm elections are all about which side can fire up their base and win the turnout battle. Judging the first night, President Trump could tip the advantage to the Republicans and keep their majorities in the House and Senate.

It’s all about turnout. The question is, will you vote for socialism or freedom?
