Hysteria has set in with Capitol Hill Democrats. Intimidation and threats are their weapon of choice in pushing back against confirming President Trump’s Supreme Court justice pick before the election.
Nothing in the Constitution prohibits Trump from doing his job while he is President. As a matter of fact, the Senate does not have to conduct a hearing. That’s just a tradition. All the Senate is required to do is to give their advice and consent.
Democrats threaten to pack the court with six new justices. Add to that statehood to Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico, adding four new U. S. Senate Seats they believe will give them a liberal majority.
So, if you don’t like the result of the rules, change the rules.
The same principal liberal judges use to write liberal laws.
