As we bemoan the slow pick up of yard waste stacked up along our curbs, including the late arrival of chairs, sofas and anything you can imagine, be aware that future hurricane Nate is nearing the neighborhood.
As for the late arrival of the chairs and sofas, folks it’s illegal to stack them next to our streets with the yard waste, and there are consequences if you get caught.
Regarding Nate, he’ll be roaring north into the Gulf of Mexico as a rapidly strengthening hurricane from the area of the Yucatan Peninsula.
With Nate’s landfall projected south of New Orleans, he’ll still bring dangerous rip currents and surf along our Gulf coast so be careful on our beaches.
And even though it looks that Central Florida may avoid a direct visit, be hurricane ready and keep watch on Nate‘s storm track throughout this weekend.
