“Israel at War: Florida Steps Up”

As reports continue to come in about the unspeakable atrocities of the Hamas barbarians, one state sprang into action to rescue her citizens from the war zone in Israel.

Governor DeSantis and the State Division of Emergency Services directed rescue flights to Israel to return Floridians to their free state of Florida. 

 This is the kind of “out-of-the-box” thinking the Governor is known for. 

There will also be a four-day special session of the Florida Legislature from November 6-9 to consider extending the number of state businesses under additional sanctions because of their dealings with Iran. Jewish Day Schools are also on deck for increased funding considerations. 

While many states of our nation continue to adopt dead-end “woke” initiatives, we are fortunate for our solid conservative leadership here in Florida.

Bill Bunkley is a 17-year veteran Salem Media talk show host based in Tampa. The Bill Bunkley Show airs weekdays across central Florida from 3 to 6 pm. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as the legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Convention Churches), among other churches and entities.
