Florida Senate member Democrat Jeff Clemens of Lake Worth has resigned over revelations he had an extramarital affair with a Tallahassee lobbyist who was then employed by Martin County.

Rumors around the capitol indicate there may be more legislators facing similar fates if other women are willing to come forward. 

This new public paradigm emerged after Hollywood’s sorted producer Harvey Weinstein racked up daily testimonies about his multiple sexual harassment episodes with women. That led to the Twitter hashtag #MeToo, which has emerged to empower other women to go public with similar abuses. 

Now Florida politicos are in the cross hairs with a new Twitter handle: @TimeToTellFl @TimeToTellFl proclaims it is there to expose Florida politicians who are guilty of sexual harassment, hypocrisy, and corruption one tweet at a time.

There well could be more legislative vacancies before the regular session begins in January.
