“Tampa Airport Thanksgiving Parking: No Room in the Inn”

According to Tampa International Airport officials, Thanksgiving weekend will be their busiest travel period ever.

Some 80,000 flyers will travel EACH DAY from November 16 through November 26.

Officials warn there will be insufficient onsite parking to accommodate the demand. Make an appointment online now to reserve your onsite parking or make other offsite arrangements. This might be the year to utilize Uber or Lyft.

Plan on massive congestion just getting to the terminal. The airport is recommending the usual two-hour prior flight time arrivals. That is AFTER you have ARRIVED at the terminal, not the time allotted for parking or the drop-off queue. 

Holiday travel is stressful enough without cutting arrival time too close. Plan to go early and take things in stride.

For some, expect that your flight may be delayed.
