In another eye-opening two-week Florida Law Enforcement Operation called “Home for the Holidays,” Attorney General James Uthmieier announced that 122 missing/endangered children were found during the sweep.
And six more felony arrests were made.
It was one of the largest child-recovery operations in America. Many of the kids have been victimized in unspeakable ways.
57 children were rescued in the Tampa Bay area, 14 in Orlando, 22 in Jacksonville, and 29 in Fort Myers. Other children were recovered in 9 different states.
Their ages ranged from 23 months to 17 years of age.
It is incredibly sad how many people prey on vulnerable children. And these are the fortunate ones who have recovered. Only God knows how many endangered children are out there.
