As each day passes, technology seems to be changing our lives at breakneck speed. Just keeping up with the AI paradigm shift unfolding before us is mind-boggling.
Well, are you ready for another massive change?
Suppose you’re stopped at a traffic light, and you look over in the next lane and see a car without a human driver behind the wheel?
That’s about to happen if you live in Tampa. The Waymo company is about to deploy a bevy of autonomous, self-driving taxis onto the streets of the Cigar City.
Tampa will soon be added to their existing self-driving car markets of Atlanta, Austin, Los Angelous, Phoenix, and San Francisco.
It’s going to be a bit before the self-driving taxis arrive on Tampa’s streets.
Next up could be your personal robot housekeeper.
Bill Bunkley is a 20-year veteran Salem Media talk show host based in Tampa. The Bill Bunkley Show airs on weekdays from 3 to 5 pm across central Florida.
