“To Host/Attend or Not to Host/Attend a Thanksgiving Gathering”

Bill Bunkley with Something to Think About

Who would have ever thought last Thanksgiving that a year later, we would be having an internal personal debate whether to attend or host the annual family fest?

Planning for a regular Thanksgiving gathering in and of itself is a considerable exercise rivaled only by family celebrations for Christmas or Hanukkah.

Right now, there is a lot of conflicting voices on what reasonable COVID-19 safety precautions we should embrace. Some believe Thanksgiving gatherings must be banned. Others think we should go about living our lives as we usually would, observing the mask and personal handwashing precautions.

What’s an overaction? What’s an underreaction?

That’s a decision I believe reserved for your whole family to make in the next few days, WITHOUT any government interference.
