Today you would probably think I would be commenting about U. S. House Democrats taking a final vote to send Articles of Impeachment to the Senate for a trial.
Normally I would be. But I believe an even bigger issue than impeaching Trump is before the nation.
Runaway spending.
This impending issue, the House’s failure to pass out a spending bill to keep the government running. Did you know that another government shutdown is looming in just three days?
The federal debt is up to $23 plus trillion, saddling our children, grandchildren, and beyond with our unpaid bills.
It’s shameful — the current do-nothing Congress should be spending its time carefully considering a budget while paying down the federal debt.
Their lack of action is a clear case of dereliction of duty.
