I’m Bill Bunkley and This Is Something To Think About.
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
It’s Christmas Eve and Clement Clark Moore’s ageless story takes us all back to a time of our childhood innocence.
Today’s world is so different, so overloaded than the one we grew up in. But there’s still peace, comfort and anticipation this night before Christmas: that is if we can dial back the not so important clutter of our lives.
Consider the innocence of the children tonight as they anticipate the arrival of Christmas.
And note that same childhood innocence is a virtue us big kids could do well to embrace in our adult lives as well.
