“A Child’s Innocence on Christmas Eve”

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

It’s Christmas Eve, and Clement Clark Moore’s ageless story takes us all back to a time of our childhood innocence.

Today’s woke world is so different, so strange from the one we grew up in. But there’s still peace, comfort, and anticipation this night before Christmas if we can dial back the unimportant nonsense surrounding our lives.

Above all, consider the children’s innocence tonight as they anticipate the arrival of Christmas.

And note that the same childhood innocence is a virtue we big kids should also embrace in our adult lives.
