The recent news cycle has been one for the record books these past few days for Christians and conservatives here in Florida and around the nation.

At the White House, Easter’s resurrection day meant President Biden took a very public stand to honor Transgender Visibility Day while creating a massive insult to every Christ follower.

In Florida, the newly minted so-called conservative Supreme Court, on a split vote, is allowing very deceptive language on both an abortion to the moment of birth and a full-blown recreational marijuana use proposed amendments to be on the November ballot.

In addition to that, a very polarized presidential election in November has the highest stakes ever on which side wins the voter turnout war.

Christians and conservatives alike must mobilize to get out the vote, to keep the Free State of Florida safe.

Bill Bunkley is an 18-year veteran Salem Media talk show host based in Tampa. The Bill Bunkley Show airs weekdays across central Florida from 3 to 6 pm. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as the legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Convention Churches), among other churches and entities. He has served as the legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention for the last 28 years at the state capitol in Tallahassee. By the Grace of his Lord Jesus, he is today a cancer survivor diagnosed in 2018 with AML Leukemia, having successfully undergone a bone marrow transplant that same year. His wife is Toni, son is Zac, and they attend Idlewild Baptist Church.
