We were reminded this week of a basic lesson on the three-branch balance of power as set forth in our United States Constitution.
We have an executive branch, headed by President Biden, that is to carry out the will of the people as set forth by their elected representatives in the legislative branch and to conduct the day-to-day work of the federal government including military operations. The third branch, the Supreme Court, is charged to be the deciding referee between the legislative and executive branches and those arising from the states.
Our country has long witnessed abuses by activists’ judges and unconstitutional executive orders by President Biden.
Thankfully a new majority on our high court is willing to reign in these abuses that only bypass the will of the governed, we the people.
