“If the hostages aren’t back by the time I get into office, all hell will break out in the Middle East.”
Those were the now infamous history-making words of President-Elect Donald Trump a few days ago from his Mar-a-Largo home.
After months of damaging appeasement toward Hamas and other terrorist organizations by President Biden, a hostage deal was announced reminiscent of the last-minute release of American diplomatic hostages by Iran moments after Ronald Reagan was sworn in as the 40th President.
Unfortunately, the deal is not an immediate release of all the hostages, dead or alive. It is a phased release, including a release and swap of thousands of Hamas terrorists in Israeli prisons.
I’m very skeptical Hamas will honor the deal.
But I am confident that Hamas, at the hands of President Trump, will have “Hell” to pay if they don’t.
