The nation's first official, accurate Republican presidential poll is in, and former President Donald John Trump won by a landslide.
In the Iowa caucus, participants awarded The Donald a massive win with 51% of the votes, more votes than all the other Republicans combined. The question is confirmed: President Trump officially dominates the GOP.
Coming in a distant second is our own Governor Ron DeSantis, at 21.2 %, with Nicki Haley at 19.1%. Vivek Ramaswamy garnered 7.7% and has dropped out of the race, throwing his support to Trump.
The New Hampshire Primary is up next, followed by South Carolina. Florida's primary early voting begins on March 4, with election day on March 19.
Practically speaking, the nomination will probably be all but wrapped up in the next few weeks by Mr. Trump, maybe before Florida’s vote.
