Former President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump departed the White House early yesterday en route to their home at Mar-A-Largo.
Unlike other Presidents who depart the day-to-day duties of the Presidency to return to their private lives, no one thinks Donald Trump has any intention of drifting off into the annals of history.
Instead, I think of yesterday’s departure and that very famous Hollywood line “I’ll be back.”
But how will Donald Trump be back? Will it be heading a new political party or continue his populism control within Republican ranks? Will he develop a new cable news company or a new social media channel?
Or is this the first day of the campaign to elect Donald Trump in 2024?
Only his inner circle knows for sure.
You and I will have to wait and see.
