The big day has arrived for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic opening festivities and parade of athletes.
The fierce Olympic competition has already begun in South Korea with the curling atheltes well ahead of the opening ceremony.
As the Olympic coverage gets underway, I’m sensing we’ll hear more political reporting by the left-leaning NBC network than strictly Olympic coverage.
Minus MIA’s Megan Kelly and Matt Lauer, NBC commentators will focus on the U. S. vs. North Korea Olympic PR Competition, the non-Russian, Russian athletes, and the handful of USA athletes who’ll want to make it clear they are competing for Team USA, and not President Trump.
Maybe the best way to view the games is to DVR the live competition and skip the nightly recap programming.
That just may enhance your 2018 Winter Games viewing experience.
