Have you ever had your Amazon delivery heisted off your front porch or witnessed someone shoplifting?
Governor Ron DeSantis, Attorney General Ashley Moody, and the Florida legislature will soon clamp down on porch pirates and shoplifters.
Soon, it will be a felony for all manner of snatch-and-run criminals.
In a press conference, DeSantis declared, “If you commit a crime in Florida, you will be held accountable. We will not tolerate retail crime, porch pirates, and the lawlessness they allow in California and New York,”
Attorney General Moody declared, “Florida is a law-and-order state.”
We live in the free state of Florida. It doesn’t mean you are free to rip off our citizens.
Criminals know Florida is not a place where they want to get caught doing a crime.
Commit a crime here in the Sunshine State; you’ll do the time. Period.
