New York City let Amazon know it wasn’t interested in economic development and in providing a significant number of new jobs to western Long Island.

To that, Governor Ron DeSantis said come on down Amazon we’ll receive you with open arms.

Miami was one of the Florida finalist cities attempting to get one of two new corporate headquarters Amazon was planning until they didn’t make the final cut.

And if Miami is a little too south, Tampa Bay, Orlando or Jacksonville would do just fine in my opinion.

Remember Florida is a tempting no state income tax entity and has shown a welcoming spirit to companies looking to relocate here.

A ridiculous rejection by New York City polls will be a tremendous shot in the arm for another American community.

And I hope it will be a Florida one.
