Kids are flocking to YouTube in increasing numbers and are attracting pedophiles to the popular site.
Pedophiles are connecting with our youngsters via pornographic posts on YouTube’s video comment page.
YouTube ads are key to the company’s revenue stream and with the magnitude of the problem getting out of hand, AT&T and Hasbro are two companies who have pulled their ads.
An AT&T spokesperson stated, “Until Google can protect our brand from offensive content of any kind, we are removing all advertising from YouTube.”
Good for them.
That’s the kind of response, as more companies join, that hopefully will force Google to take the necessary steps to enhance their security protocols.
Nestle, Epic Games who created the video game Fortnight, and Disney have also limited their ads.
