We are watching the world come to a screeching halt over what may become a global pandemic.

The coronavirus, in a matter of days, managed to wipe out all the Down Jones Industrial stock market gains going back to January 2018.

The world has abruptly stopped traveling, flying, going to public places. The Summer Olympics could be canceled.

Humbled seems to be a fitting description; humbled about something they can’t control, a plague.

I’m wondering if they’ll be humbled enough to realize there is a God, and He oversees the events of this world. Will they be humble enough to come back to Him and to ask for His mercy and deliverance from this plague?

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord and ask for His mercy by stopping the coronavirus.
