“Legislator Files Bill to Cancel the Democrat Party of Florida”

Today we live in a world that is all about canceling this and canceling that.

When the radical left disapproves of something, they issue a call to cancel what they don't like.

But one Florida legislator has an answer to counter this practice: cancel the Democrat Party of Florida.

Do you remember which party supported slavery?

Well, Florida State Senator Blaise Ingoglia of Spring Hill does. He's filed SB 1248, which would direct the state Divisions of Elections to cancel any political party's" filings," including party registration and approved status in any and all elections if that party's platform had previously advocated for slavery or involuntary servitude.

Now I don't expect the bill to pass. I do expect it will raise awareness of Florida's true and accurate history regarding the past supporters of slavery.

Bill Bunkley is a 17-year veteran Salem Media talk show host based in Tampa. The Bill Bunkley Show airs weekdays across central Florida from 3 to 6 pm.
