For most of 2018, I was uncertain if I would ever be back at the state capitol here in Tallahassee. The surprise battle I was drawn into last March against leukemia left me contemplating in a very private sense what God was up to in my life and what was going to be my story looking forward into the future.

Well, by the Grace of God, today the opening day of the 2019 Florida Legislative Session is here, and I am at the capitol to experience it. And I am not just visiting, but back to monitor and advocate once again for Christian worldview values as President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, Inc.

That is a blessing beyond description.

And I am asking God to shed his grace, wisdom, and leadership on the people’s public servants gathered for the next 60 days.
