The Florida Senate will be hearing in a second committee today an issue any adult can relate to in some form or fashion.
The legislation is SB76, and it deals with distracted driving.
When you hear about distracted driving, texting probably is the first image that pops in your mind. But beware, even if you don’t text and drive, there may be something in the legislation that pertains to you.
Now if you drive while reading, writing, performing personal grooming or applying a beauty aid or similar products (ouch ladies), interacting with your pet (especially if the pet is halfway out the window), interacting with unsecured cargo, using a wireless device, or ANY other activity that a law enforcement officer may consider a distraction, you may be guilty.
So now I that you are forewarned, do any of these apply?
