America just witnessed one of the most reprehensible acts in our short history.
A member of the U. S. Senate, the Senate Minority Leader no less, threatened two members of the Supreme Court while leading what could have evolved into a dangerous protest outside the court, while justices were hearing an abortion case.
The guilty party? Senate Democrat Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
Schumer yelled, and I quote, “I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”
Shameful, just shameful.
Chuck Schumer should be expelled from the Senate, but that takes a two-thirds vote. He should at least be censored, which only requires a simple majority.
Bill Bunkley is a 14-year veteran Salem Radio Network talk show host based in west-central Florida, airing weekdays 3 to 6 PM. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Churches throughout Florida), among other churches and entities.
