 “Teenagers at Risk”

Bill Bunkley With Something To Think About.

The warning signs are clear.

The Department of Children and Families Secretary Mike Carroll is in Hillsborough County to get to the bottom of a serious problem; why troubled teenagers without a home and suitable parents or guardians do not have a place to pillow their heads.

The problem can no longer be ignored.

Troubled, homeless teenage Foster Kids who are rebellious and difficult to work with can no longer be swept out of sight and under the rug, housed in parked cars overnight at the local WAWA. These older wards of the state need highly trained social workers and facilities specially equipped to take whatever steps necessary to get them the help they need.

Failing to do so, don’t be surprised when a troubled teenager acts out and you hear about the next mass causality event.
