“State of the State: A DeSantis Victory Lap or Presidential Bonafides”

I just listened to Governor DeSantis’ State of the State address in the House Chamber here in Tallahassee.

The term “Grand Slam” comes to mind.

And I am going over in my mind, did I hear a victory lap of a long, long list of incredible accomplishments or the setting of the table for a Presidential run?

I’d say both.

A gleaming DeSantis relished his opportunity to take a well-deserved victory lap considering his first-term accomplishments. His agenda goals for the year ahead are just as compelling.

Two statements that stood out among many are that “Florida is a pro-life state” and his closing statement, “you aint seen nothing yet,”

But let’s be honest; everybody wants to know whether he will be running for the Republican nomination for the Presidency of the United States.

Stay tuned; I say the best is yet to come.
