It is truly unbelievable it has happened again. A decorated Tampa Police officer killed in his patrol car trying to stop a wrong-way driver on I-275.
In recent days both a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Deputy Corporal Brian LaVigne and Pinellas County Deputy Michael Magli died tragically from impacts by two cars used as weapons of death.
Tampa Police Officer Jesse Madsen likely veered into the path of the wrong-way driver around 1 AM Tuesday. Investigators believe he undertook that maneuver to save the lives of the motorist behind him. That’s not surprising. In 16 ½ years of service, he has seven life-saving accommodations.
He leaves a wife and three children.
Let's not forget all three heroes leave behind three wives and three sets of children.
Please pray for all three families.
