The World Health Organization has now declared the spread of the coronavirus a “Global Pandemic.”
With that declaration, the entire world is on official notice.
That does not mean it is time for you to panic. It does not mean it is a time for you to shrug it off as no big deal. It is a time for faith and prayers, a historic time for personal responsibility.
What happens next with the coronavirus has a good deal to do with what informed actions you, our fellow Americans, and I take in the coming days. You have a role to play. That role is to follow the comprehensive instructions on how to conduct your personal life until the virus subsides, and IT WILL subside.
If everyone accepts and implements the prescribed personal safety responsibilities, we can all impact the outcome.

Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Churches throughout Florida), among other churches and entities. He has served as legislative consultant to the Convention for the last 24 years at the state capitol in Tallahassee.
