Most of us are trying to adjust to a new normal courtesy of the coronavirus.

But this is anything but normal.

Staying at home or work with social distancing, zero restaurant options, entertainment or sporting diversions is a shock to our collective systems.

But as we experience a new personal paradigm, it’s clear we’re also experiencing elements from the 1918 Spanish Flu, the 1929 Great Depression and market crash, and the incredible industrial retooling and output Americans accomplished during WWII.

What was the common denominator in those challenges?

Americans stepped up then, just like you and I are stepping up today.

Stay calm, take this a day at a time, and remain focused on the Lord.

We will defeat the coronavirus just as we’ve defeated our other challenges in the past.
