“Regional Banks are Essential”

The world banking system is reacting to what happened here in California with the bank failure of the Silicon Valley Bank.

Now a Swiss bank, Credit Suisse, failed, and over the weekend, the other Swiss megabank, UBS, is taking over their operations.

Reserve banks worldwide are stepping in lockstep to coordinate and cooperate to keep the international money supply flowing.

Here, larger banks absorbing smaller regional banks to shore them up is very concerning if the result would be to have one or two larger banks exclusively holding the nation’s assets, which would lay a dangerous foundation for a socialist, central federal government.

Small regional banks are an essential component of the American economy.

Don’t give up on regional banks. America must work to keep them open as one step toward keeping our country free.
