“Floridians Say A Big “No” To Gambling Expansion”

The Florida gambling industry just got some news they would you not be talking about.
Adding more gambling around the state is a ‘Big Time” non-starter.
A just released Mason-Dixon Poll says a whopping 84% of Florida voters “want to reduce or hold the line on gambling. And 60% would be less likely to support a candidate who votes to expand gambling.
And guess what, the” no vote” percentages for gambling opposition is solid statewide: 81% say no from Tampa Bay, 92% from Central Florida, 84% from Southwest Florida, 87% from Northeast Florida and even 78% from Southeast Florida.
Only 8% of Floridians favor gambling expansion.
I wonder if the Florida Senate will get it. Their proposed SB 8 would create all sorts of gambling expansion statewide.
The Florida House proposal is more in line with the voters of Florida.
