When we look at many of our ills in America, AWOL, absent without leave males, are to blame for bailing out on their kids for decades.
Recently Dr. Tony Evans shared some troubling facts about AWOL males.
Consider the following:
70% of all prisoners grew up without a father.
80% of all rapist grew up without a father.
71% of all high school dropouts grew up fatherless or with an abusive father.
63% of teenage suicide were fatherless.
40% of all children are born to a single mom.
72% of all African Americans are born to a single mom.
And what’s the cost to America?
$52 billion spent on prisons.
$8 billion in public assistance to dropouts.
$10 billion to unwed mothers without a dad around.
$300 billion in lost taxes of those males who don’t step out.
Deadbeat dads, your kids desperately need you.
