Tuesday was a pivotal day for U.S. Republican House Speaker Mike Johnston and the State of Florida. Two separate Congressional seats were in the balance, and both were secured by a District 1 victory by former Florida CFO Republican Jimmy Patronis and in District 6, former Republican State Senator Randy Fine.
After several tumultuous weeks of executive orders, Florida reaffirms its status as Trump territory.
Both candidates acknowledged that Trump’s endorsement was the determining factor in their election success.
If you are a Republican planning a run in the future for an office in Florida, auditioning for a Trump endorsement should be first on your list of priorities.
