"Is Discrimination Against Chick-fil-A Legal”

Bill Bunkley with Something to Think About

A new nation trend is unfolding that bans the wildly popular Chick-fil-A restaurants from our nation’s airports.

But let’s consider two words often falsely used to attack Chick-fil-A: bigotry and discrimination toward LGBTQ.

A bigot is a person or group who is intolerant toward those holding different views. And religious discrimination is treating a person or group differently because of the beliefs they hold about a religion.

Neither describes Chick-fil-A, they happily serve everyone equally. Not guilty on both counts. Period.

The real bigotry, religious discriminators, and blatently intolerant party are government bodies banning Chick-fil-A.

I believe if Chick-fil-A would ever litigate on federal religious discrimination grounds, which I highly doubt, they would win and win big.
