I admit that as soon as I got home from church Sunday I made a bee line to my TV set to watch the annual Masters Golf classic from a stormy Augusta, GA.
11 years since his last major, after losing his dad, publicized moral indiscretions, that DUI mugshot, and most challenging of all, multiple back surgeries, Tiger Wood’s comeback came true despite it being considered impossible by golf experts.
But Tiger did come back and he‘s this year’s Master’s Champion.
Living up to his name, the old Tiger was back. His steely focus and concentration was back. The old confident, determined walk up to each tee and green was undoubtedly reminiscent of a tiger patiently stalking their prey.
Congratulations Tiger, let your renewed commitment to family values also be a part of your links legacy.
