I’m Bill Bunkley with Something To Think About.

Saturday, April 29 marks the first 100 days of the Trump Administration.

The occasion reminds me of another flamboyant and boisterous U. S. President.

Teddy Roosevelt and his use of the “bully pulpit” is the first comparison that comes to mind. President Trump’s has masterfully utilized his “bully pulpit” at the White House to greet, meet and rally all manner of interest groups toward his “Make America Great” agenda.

Teddy’s deployment of the U. S. Navy’s “Great White Fleet” of 16 battleships that crisscrossed the globe demonstrating America’s world leadership and power, compares to Trump’s decisive military action in both Syria and Afghanistan, and the warning eye he has cast towards North Korea. 

Confirming Justice Gorsuch by far leads his early accomplishments, Making the call on repealing Obamacare, immigration reform, border security, tax reform and religious liberty will come in a year.
