Does the presence of COVID-19 make people crazy when they get behind a steering wheel?
There’s an abundance of absolutely crazy drivers driving at very excessive speeds while weaving in and out of traffic on our interstates and toll roads. It’s like they’re playing a NASCAR virtual reality video game. Their childish actions are putting us all at great risk.
Light highway traffic due to COVID-19 is an invitation for some to blow past you from anywhere from 80 to 100 miles an hour. And when you get 3 or 4 cars racing each other, and all 4 passing our car on both lanes next to us, it’s a scary encounter.
That was my Friday night experience.
What a shame to live through COVID-19, only to be killed or maimed by a reckless driver.
Let’s slow it down out there. Let’s be safe.
