“AI Can Go Quite Wrong Says Sam Altman”

 Artificial Intelligence, known as AI, is developing too quickly, and many, including Elon Musk, warn AI technology should be paused indefinitely until safeguards are implemented.

We now have disturbing corroborating testimony from the Senate Judiciary Committee about AI’s risks to humanity.

Testifying Tuesday, the CEO of OpenAI, Sam Altman, told Senators he fears AI development may cause a major disruption for people if it isn’t properly regulated. If fact, it could cause significant harm worldwide.

AI will cause a significant adverse effect on jobs. Many jobs will be automated away. Others say AI will be more punitive and harmful to humans in the future. It will be difficult to determine what is real and artificially generated.

When machines take over, they will change everything: a disturbing thought for our future.
