“Robots Achieve “Human-Level Artificial Intelligence”

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, as it is most commonly referred to, has been steadily replacing more and more tasks completed by humans since God created Adam and Eve.

We see it applied to numerous applications, especially on manufacturing assembly lines. It is alarming to think of a future world run by AI.

Now you might think that will never happen. But think again.

A Google company based in the UK named DeepMind has declared “The Game is Over” as they say they are close to achieving “human-level” artificial intelligence. They say the most complex tasks to achieve human-like AL have been resolved.

But what about the questions of morality. Whose morality will be programmed into AI’s thinking? Will Christian morals be abandoned altogether?

With AI comes more concerns and questions, than answers.

Bill Bunkley is a 16-year veteran Salem Radio talk show host based in west-central /Florida, airing weekdays 3 to 6 pm. Bill is also President of the Florida Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, which serves as legislative consultant to the Florida Baptist State Convention (Southern Baptist Churches throughout Florida), among other churches and entities.
