Vice President Mike Pence traveled to Orlando to discuss the importance of Kissimmee’s world-famous tourist attractions with Governor Ron DeSantis.

Tourism is a crucial element of the Florida economy. Reopening our tourist resorts will be a huge signal to the world that Florida is open and ready for their business.

The symbolism could not be any more significant. It will also be a catalyst for Florida bound American travelers, eager to get out of their “stay-at-home” mindset, to come on down to enjoy our Sunshine State.

We are very fortunate to have the amenities to get our economy pumping again.

Mike Pence stated that Florida will lead the nation out of the shutdown.

Busch Gardens, Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios will play a vital role in that effort. 

Bill Bunkley is a 14-year veteran Salem Radio Network talk show host based in west-central Florida, airing weekdays 3 to 6 PM.
