“Governor DeSantis & Florida Cabinet Heading To Israel”

Governor Ron DeSantis, the Florida Cabinet and about 90 high level, super connected Tallahassee heavyweights and others will depart for Israel on May 25th for an economic development mission targeting tourism, technology and water-management. Terrorism and emergency management will also be discussed.
While in Israel they will conduct a Florida Cabinet meeting at the new U. S. Embassy in Jerusalem, although that has raised some concern about conducting an open government meeting so far from Florida citizens.
The delegation is made up of quite a few individuals from South Florida. It is intended to demonstrate strong support for Israel from our state.
No doubt the delegation will be well received by Israel, but expect the cost vs benefits question to be thoroughly scrutinized upon their return.
